Pelham Baseball & Softball Coaches! Please mark your calendars for these valuable sessions led by Coach Peter Milani (Coach Pete), who has once again generously volunteered his time to share key fundamentals with our PLL coaches. Google Calendar invites will follow soon.
We strongly encourage all coaches to attend, with at least one coach per team required to participate. We also need two child volunteers (one boy and one girl) for each session to assist with demonstrating drills and age-appropriate instruction. If your child is interested, please respond via email by Friday, April 4, 2025.
Session 1: Basic Fundamentals & How to Conduct a Practice
Date: Wednesday, April 9, 2025 Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Hutchinson Elementary School Gym
Description: Geared toward coaches of younger players (ages 4-7), this session covers essential fundamentals and practice planning. Note, all coaches are welcome to attend.
Session 2: Hitting and Pitching* Instruction
Date: Friday, April 25, 2025 Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Hutchinson Elementary School Gym
Note: *Pitching instruction is baseball-focused.
Description: Aimed at coaches of older players (ages 7-12), this session splits time between hitting (~45 minutes) and pitching (~45 minutes). Also note, all coaches are invited.
